After the major leak from two days ago, Briefmobile is back with more info on the Google Nexus 10 tablet. Sadly, we won’t be seeing the device launched tomorrow, because of the weather conditions in USA. This time we get a video of the Nexus 10 slate from the same source, showing it’s a rounded edge glossy slab of plasticky material.
The device is made by Samsung and it features a dual core Cortex A15 chip that beats any other mobile processor in benchmarks. There’s also a very cool ARM Mali T604 GPU, that doubles the 3D performance of the Galaxy S III and should provide an incredible gaming experience. Inside the tablet we find 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Other features include NFC, WiFi, GPS, as shown here, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 5 megapixel camera at the back. Android 4.2 is the OS of choice and upfront we’ve got the feature stealing the show: a 10.1 inch (possibly IPS), with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels.
The screen is said to be gorgeous and reproduces colors like the HTC SCLD2 rather than the Samsung Super AMOLED screens. Samsung relies on a polycarbonate back this time, one that feels like brushed aluminum, so gone are the creaking and weird feeling of the Galaxy Note 10. 1case. The edges are described as rubbery, so all in all a very interesting device. Also very thin, as shown below…
