ASUS Working on Android 4.2 Updates for Its Devices

ASUS has made a reputation for itself for being one of the fastest companies when it comes to updating its devices to the latest Android version. This is why it doesn’t come as a surprise that they’ve just announced they will be offering Android 4.2 soon enough.

The Taiwanese company has confirmed it’s working on Android 4.2 updates and I guess they’re targeting their Transformer tablets here especially since they were among the first in the world to get Jelly Bean. The Transformer Prime TF201 is rumored to be one of the first to get the new Jelly Bean. We also expect the PadFone and PadFone 2 to be at the top of the line when it comes to such software upgrades, as well as the Prime and Infinity Pad.

I can’t understand why ASUS is so fast with these updates and Motorola, a company that Google owns couldn’t find the time to deliver even Jelly Bean and sometimes even ICS to its devices… It puzzles me every time. And Samsung, the biggest seller of Android devices is also having a hard time with updates. What’s the catch here?
