After RadioShack leaked its special prices for Black Friday 2012, it’s now the turn of Staples to leak its hottest offers. Those include a bunch of Amazon tablets, obviously the Nexus 7 and the Lenovo A2107 fresh affordable slate. For those who don’t know, Black Friday takes place on November 23rd and involves major price reductions and special offers for buyers.
Staples only lists 7 inch Android tablets this time in the ad that hit the web. So, it appears that you’ll be buying a 16 GB Nexus 7 for $199.99, while the 32 GB Nexus 7 goes for $249.99. The Amazon Kindle Fire goes for $159, bundled with a $20 Staples gift card, while the 16 GB Amazon Kindle Fire HD is $199, bundled with the same gift card. Add 16 GB more and a Kindle Fire HD costs $249, once again with gift card.
And finally, the hottest offer of the bunch is the 8GB Lenovo A2017, that goes for $149.99 . Frankly speaking, I’m not surprised or impressed by these offers and I think they could have done better actually.. Maybe the smartphones will get better offers, or maybe tablets on contracts, who knows? Expect to be surprised by the pricing of the ASUS Transformer tablets and also the Samsung Galaxy Tab units from this year.
